Rosamond Gifford Zoo

I swear, the best time to go to the zoo is in the winter. I'm glad that hardly anybody goes this time of year because it's much more enjoyable without the crowds that show up on 85-degree days, hah.

Patrick and I went to the Rosamond Gifford Zoo with his mom, sister and the babies last week. I think the temperature was around 30 degrees or so, and it was sooo great! I could have spent the whole day there.

I noticed this lioness in particular as soon as we walked outside. She was standing up and pawing violently against the glass - pawing so hard that the panel was bending in the frame. I'm not even exaggerating. I wish I had thought to make a video of it on our phone! We were the only people around, so while we were all amazed at the way she was acting, it was also slightly terrifying... and quite humbling, haha.

Here's a shot of Patrick's mom with her. I think she was simply asking to come in from the cold! ;)

The lemurrrrs! They have been my favorite since I went here for the first time in Kindergarten, haha.

So, do you think this was Photoshopped? :)
